What was announced
On its official X account, OpenSea said it is supporting Elysium, Kinetiq's Hyperliquid L2, from day one and that it will see everyone on mainnet on November 9. Kinetiq's own ecosystem directory also lists OpenSea as an announced NFT marketplace on Elysium. Details such as collection lists, fees and launch time have not been published at the time of writing, so check OpenSea's own channels on the day.
Get your wallet ready
- Add the Elysium network (chain ID
99901, gas token HYPE). - Get HYPE onto Elysium. You pay gas in HYPE for every mint, purchase and listing, and most NFT sales on a HYPE chain are priced in HYPE.
- Use a wallet you already trust. Do not import your main wallet's seed phrase anywhere new.
- Keep a little extra HYPE for gas. A first-time buyer usually needs several transactions: an approval, the purchase and sometimes a listing.
Fake links: the main risk on launch day
Every new chain brings fake marketplaces, fake "claim" pages and copied collections. Only open OpenSea from the link on its verified X account or by typing the address yourself. Never sign a message that asks for "approval for all" on a site you reached from a reply or a direct message.
