Elysium testnet faucet: how to get test HYPE
Elysium's testnet (chain ID 99801) lets you try launchpads and apps for free before mainnet. You need test HYPE for gas; it has no value and comes from Kinetiq's faucet.
Steps
- Add Elysium Testnet to your wallet (settings here).
- Make sure the same wallet holds some real HYPE on HyperEVM. The faucet checks this to stop bots draining it; any small amount works.
- Go to
https://testnet.elysium.kinetiq.xyz/faucet, connect, request. - Switch to Elysium Testnet in your wallet — the test HYPE shows within a minute.
"Not eligible" or nothing arrives
- The wallet has no HYPE on HyperEVM → send a little HYPE there first.
- You already claimed recently → the faucet is rate-limited per wallet.
- Wrong network selected → the balance is on 99801, not 99901 or HyperEVM.
What to do with test HYPE
Several launchpads run testnet versions where you can create coins and trade with zero risk. Activity on testnet is also what the Elysium ecosystem directory ranks pads by until mainnet, which is why many pads ask early users to try their testnet.
